Shiatsu is a deeply relaxing treatment; smoothing out and unwinding ingrained or daily tensions and stresses in your body and mind.   

Your treatment will involve non-invasive and intuitive gentle touch along meridian channels (as used in acupuncture), combined with highly skilled stretching, joint mobilisation and fascial release techniques, positively affecting the body’s physical structures, internal organs, and emotional well-being on its own terms.     

Shiatsu can be used to treat most dis-ease in the body and the long lasting restorative benefits go far beyond the deep relaxation you will feel during treatment.

Shiatsu is also wonderful for pregnancy. Treatments can provide relief from common ailments such as tensions, aches and swelling, and will support the physical and emotional changes that you experience throughout the three trimesters of your pregnancy. Shiatsu encourages the energetic bond between mother and child, in the most gentle and comforting way.

In addition to treating in a dedicated room in her own home, Alice treats Shiatsu on Yoga and Qigong retreats in the UK and Europe.

Please note that during these Covid times, Alice is following all government guidelines and implementing them within her practice. As Alice practices Shiatsu in a private household, in which there is just one other person living (and who works from home), the environment is one of the safest in which to enjoy a treatment in these unusual times.
